You couldn’t swing the undead cat from Pet Sematary without smacking into a pile of movies destined to become classics: A Nightmare on Elm Street; The Re- Animator; The Evil Dead; An American Werewolf in London; The Shining; The Howling; The Thing; Poltergeist. And that’s just a fraction of the list. We were similarly blessed by a crop of authors revitalizing the genre with amazing work: Dan Simmons; F. Paul Wilson; Richard Laymon; Ramsey Cambell; Robert Mc. Cammon; Joe R. Lansdale; Peter Straub; Jack Ketchum; John Saul. And, you know. Things were going like a house on fire. Clive Barker dropped into that blazing house like a nuclear bomb. His talent was so prodigious, so ruthlessly creative that it blew everyone away. The force of his entry tilted the horror world on its axis. As if his obvious skill wasn’t enough, Stephen King hailed him as the “future of horror.” That’s like water saying you’re the next wet. After that, Barker probably could have put out erotica featuring donkeys and weasels and people would have bought it as long as King’s blurb was on the cover. He didn’t. After the Books of Blood dropped in the mid- eighties, he decided to just tear off and whip some ass. Barker never settled for the mundane, never rehashed old concepts or attitudes. It’s tempting to say he pushed the limits, but that doesn’t apply. He didn’t recognize limits, and that allowed him to keep innovating and redefining what we called scary. I’ve put together a list of what I consider to be his best five books. Here they are in ascending order. Cabal. Cabal is a novella and not a full- length book, but it’s a tight story and boasts a breathtaking menagerie of freakshow critters. Boone has been convinced by his therapist, Decker, that he’s a mentally disturbed murderer. Rather than turn himself in to the police, he flees to a place he’s heard whispered about: Midian, the city where monsters live. He finds Midian and it’s indeed populated by a monstrous race called the Nightbreed. However, Boone learns he may not be the vicious creature he was led to believe. At least, not yet. Pursued by his creepy therapist and his confused girlfriend, Boone doesn’t know which world he belongs to: the one full of daylight or the one full of Nightbreed. Cabal is a jarring ride through monsterdom. There are honest fangs tearing flesh in this book, but there’s a lot more than that. Barker treats his creatures affectionately, whether they’re gentle beasts or ravaging killers. He explores how they came to be what they are, their capacity for love, the lonely shadow life they endure, and whether salvation exists for things with claws and scales. The Nightbreed are more achingly human than most of the people in the story. Barker loves his monsters, and he’ll make you love them, too. Cabal was made into a movie called Nightbreed in 1. Clive Barker. The limited edition Blu- ray comes out October 2. The Hellbound Heart. Technically, this is also a novella but it pretty much sums up everything Clive Barker’s fiction is about: obsession, sexuality, pleasure, pain, seduction. No one twists these blades deeper and The Hellbound Heart will make you feel like you’re trapped in a place where damnation may be enlightenment. Frank Cotton thinks he’s seen everything the world has to offer, tasted all its delights and perversities. He needs a new level of sensation, one that’s locked inside a mysterious puzzle box. Frank solves the box and cracks it open, which was the worst thing to happen to him all day. A cadre of mutilated beings drags him away to inflict agonies that transcend suffering and edge into ecstasy. Frank disappears from Earth but leaves a stain. Fresh- spilled blood turns the stain into a smear and the smear into a crazed, skinless Frank who’s escaped his tormentors and is back looking for love. And skin. The object of his pus- covered affection, and the only person who can help, is a former lover. Turns out she’s married to Frank’s brother, who happens to already have skin, which is nice. But that might not be enough to keep a crazy bitch happy. She might have to aid and abet a felon from hell. This story is sick and only Barker could have done it so well. The twisted picture he paints is so real you can almost feel the hooks digging into your skin. It’s a great piece of horror literature and was turned into one of the classic horror films of the 8. Hellraiser. Soon followed by Hellbound: Hellraiser II, which is also awesome. More sequels came later but I’d stay away from those. The Books of Blood. These short stories are what launched Barker to the forefront of the genre. The sheer vision exhibited in The Books of Blood was two levels above what anyone else was doing. They defied convention and expanded the parameters of what horror was capable of. Even though the 8. Renaissance for the fright scene, nobody Renaissanced that shit harder than Clive Barker. His ideas were more original, his execution was cleaner, and the man just did not give a fuck. No topic was off- limits, no taboo was too loathsome, and there was no end to the gut- wrenching sex, violence, and madness he could sling. We’ve all heard the names of these stories. The Midnight Meat Train. The Yattering and Jack. Rawhead Rex. In the Hills, the Cities. The Skins of the Fathers. Son of Celluloid. The Body Politic. Barker’s nightmares were deep, beautiful things with rich textures no one else could match. These were more than just short stories. They were bullets in a gun used to murder typical horror and start a one- man revolution. The Books of Blood are full of psychotically novel ideas. If you manage to get through them without constantly asking yourself “How did he do that?” then you’re a zombie and I’ll shoot you in the head. Imajica. I think a lot of fans would call Imajica Clive Barker’s masterwork. Barker himself says it’s his favorite. Or favourite, rather. There’s no denying the majesty of this massive book. Its scope is certainly much bigger than anything else Barker has done; its bravery and genius are fettered only slightly by the author’s indulgence. The Imajica are the five realms of existence, of which Earth is one. The other four are united and all cuddly but Earth has been exiled. It’s been sent to its room alone to think about what it did. But once every 2. The last one went badly. Like, death and destruction and madness badly. But a fresh try approaches. The protagonist, Gentle doesn’t know any of this. But he’s drawn into the galaxy- spanning intrigue as the story progresses. He leaps from world to world and meets a mind- boggling array of characters and creatures, gods and goddesses, lovers and enemies. Seriously, any attempt to summarize this book is like trying to explain jazz to a ferret. This is a gargantuan, sprawling, ridiculous work of staggering imagination. Barker spares no detail and creates a luxurious multiverse populated with incredible beings and fantastic settings. Every step in this story is a completely new experience. This book crackles with all kinds of magic and is supported by an intricate fantasy that can sometimes get in the way of experiencing the story. Barker’s imagination runs absolutely hog- shit wild and, while it usually generates stupendous results, it occasionally gets tangled. There were moments when I wished he would tone down the incredible elements just a wee bit and get on with it. But for the most part I was caught up, totally enmeshed in what was happening. Imajica isn’t a journey for everyone. It’s outlandish and involved and very complex. It’s also an amazing display of talent that his die- hard fans adore. The Great and Secret Show“Succinctly put, it’s about Hollywood, sex, and Armageddon.” So says Clive Barker of my favorite book he’s ever written. It’s a touch less ambitious than Imajica but quite a bit more cohesive and pointed. Fletcher and Jaffe have been battling each other for years. First as humans and then as more supernatural beings. Jaffe wants to use an ancient magic called the Art to tear through reality and control what’s on the other side. Fletcher wants to stop him. That’s the core of the plot. Everything surrounding that core is the real Art, however, and Barker is an unparalleled Artist. He weaves together dozens of storylines, characters, locales, and possibilities into one ultimately unsettling, ultimately sublime vision. The Great and Secret Show is a shining gem of a novel, each facet leading perfectly to the next, illuminating more of the whole, captivating the eye. There are also monsters made out of poop and semen. Keep an eye out for those. Clive Barker is really in a different place from the rest of us. This book brings us across and lets us stretch out in his living room. It makes us at home in his home. Which, granted, is a forbidding, ludicrous place made from batshit and waffles. Nonetheless, you’ll be glad you went. And, years from now, you’ll read it again and wish it could be for the first time. ![]() Shooting Games - Y8. COMMilitary Wars 3. D Multiplayer. Rating. Great Orlando, 2. Oct 2. 01. 6 - I have a newspaper clipping found in my late grandmothers belongings. She died in 1. 96. There is no newspaper name, but it tells of The Great Orlando who was a trapeze artist with a circus in Hull at the time. He collapsed in the street and was attended by a young lady (I assume as my grandmother kept the clipping it may have been her). I know she lived in Hull when she was young. Any information on him would be good. It's always been told in the family that she wanted to call my father Orlando, but grandad wouldn't have it. Mix up the letters for Orlando and and it's pretty near Roland which was the name they agreed to in the end. Pamela Reply to this message, replies go to this board, not to the message sender. October 1. 93. 9) is an English actor, voice actor, screenwriter, producer, and comedian. He achieved success at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and as a scriptwriter and performer on The Frost Report. In the late 1. 96. Monty Python, the comedy troupe responsible for the sketch show. Monty Python's Flying Circus and the four Monty Python films: And Now for Something Completely Different, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Life of Brian and The Meaning of Life. In the mid- 1. 97. Cleese and his first wife, Connie Booth, co- wrote and starred in the British sitcom Fawlty Towers, with Cleese receiving the 1. BAFTA for Best Entertainment Performance. Later, he co- starred with Kevin Kline, Jamie Lee Curtis, and former Python colleague Michael Palin in A Fish Called Wanda and Fierce Creatures, both of which he also wrote. He also starred in Clockwise and has appeared in many other films, including two James Bond films as R and Q, two Harry Potter films, and the last three Shrek films. With Yes Minister writer Antony Jay, he co- founded Video Arts, a production company making entertaining training films. In 1. 97. 6, Cleese co- founded The Secret Policeman's Ball benefit shows to raise funds for the human rights organisation Amnesty International. Early life. Cleese was born in Weston- super- Mare, Somerset, the only child of Reginald Francis Cleese (1. Muriel Evelyn (n. When he was 1. 3, he was awarded an exhibition at Clifton College, an English public school in Bristol. He was already more than 6 feet (1. Cleese allegedly defaced the school grounds, as a prank, by painting footprints to suggest that the statue of Field Marshal. Earl Haig had got down from his plinth and gone to the toilet. I believe that this moment changed my perspective on the world. He also joined the Cambridge Footlights. He recalled that he went to the Cambridge Guildhall, where each university society had a stall, and went up to the Footlights stall where he was asked if he could sing or dance. He replied . He was then asked . He was also in the cast of the 1. Footlights Revue Double Take! Despite his successes on The Frost Report, his father would send him cuttings from The Daily Telegraph offering management jobs in places like Marks and Spencer. While performing in the musical Half a Sixpence. The success of the Footlights Revue led to the recording of a short series of half- hour radio programmes, called I'm Sorry, I'll Read That Again, which were so popular that the BBC commissioned a regular series with the same title that ran from 1. Cleese returned to Britain and joined the cast. The writing staff chosen for The Frost Report consisted of a number of writers and performers who would go on to make names for themselves in comedy. They included co- performers from I'm Sorry, I'll Read That Again and future Goodies. Bill Oddie and Tim Brooke- Taylor, and also Frank Muir, Barry Cryer, Marty Feldman, Ronnie Barker, Ronnie Corbett, Dick Vosburgh and future Python members Eric Idle, Terry Jones, and Michael Palin. While working on The Frost Report, the future Pythons developed the writing styles that would make their collaboration significant. Cleese's and Chapman's sketches often involved authority figures, some of whom were performed by Cleese, while Jones and Palin were both infatuated with filmed scenes that opened with idyllic countryside panoramas. Idle was one of those charged with writing David Frost's monologue. During this period Cleese met and befriended influential British comedian Peter Cook. It was as a performer on The Frost Report that Cleese achieved his breakthrough on British television as a comedy actor, appearing as the tall, patrician figure in the classic class sketch, contrasting comically in a line- up with the shorter, middle class. Ronnie Barker and the even shorter, working class. Ronnie Corbett. This series was so popular that in 1. Cleese and Chapman were invited to work as writers and performers with Brooke- Taylor and Feldman on At Last the 1. Show. These series were successful, and in 1. Cleese and Chapman were offered their very own series. However, owing to Chapman's alcoholism, Cleese found himself bearing an increasing workload in the partnership and was, therefore, unenthusiastic about doing a series with just the two of them. He had found working with Palin on The Frost Report an enjoyable experience and invited him to join the series. Palin had previously been working on Do Not Adjust Your Set with Idle and Jones, with Terry Gilliam creating the animations. The four of them had, on the back of the success of Do Not Adjust Your Set, been offered a series for Thames Television, which they were waiting to begin when Cleese's offer arrived. Palin agreed to work with Cleese and Chapman in the meantime, bringing with him Gilliam, Jones, and Idle. Monty Python. Monty Python's Flying Circus ran for four seasons from October 1. December 1. 97. 4 on BBC Television, though Cleese quit the show after the third. Cleese's two primary characterisations were as a sophisticated and a stressed- out loony. He portrayed the former as a series of announcers, TV show hosts, and government officials (for example, . The latter is perhaps best represented in the . He was also known for his working class . He is also seen as the opening announcer with the now famous line . A classic example of this is the . It was Chapman's suggestion to change the faulty item into a dead parrot, and he also suggested that the parrot be specifically a . Like Chapman, Cleese's poker face clipped middle class accent, and intimidating height allowed him to appear convincingly as a variety of authority figures, such as policemen, detectives, Nazi officers or government officials—which he would then proceed to undermine. Most famously, in the . All of these roles were opposite Palin (who Cleese often claims is his favourite Python to work with)—the comic contrast between the towering Cleese's crazed aggression and the shorter Palin's shuffling inoffensiveness is a common feature in the series. Occasionally, the typical Cleese–Palin dynamic is reversed, as in . He felt, too, that the show's scripts had declined in quality. For these reasons, he became restless and decided to move on. Though he stayed for the third series, he officially left the group before the fourth season. Despite this, he remained friendly with the group, and all six began writing Monty Python and the Holy Grail; Cleese received a credit on three episodes of the fourth series which used material from these sessions, though he was officially unconnected with the fourth series. Cleese returned to the troupe to co- write and co- star in the Monty Python films Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Monty Python's Life of Brian and Monty Python's The Meaning of Life, and participated in various live performances over the years. Post- Python activities. From 1. 97. 0 to 1. Cleese served as rector of the University of St Andrews. For instance, the rector was traditionally entitled to appoint an . Cleese changed this into a position for a student, elected across campus by the student body, resulting in direct access and representation for the student body. The differences between the two physically (the tall, lean Cleese and the short, stout Dawson) and socially (the public school, and then Cambridge- educated Cleese and the working class, self- educated Mancunian Dawson) were marked, but both worked well together from series 8 onwards until the series ended in 1. The series won three BAFTA awards when produced and in 2. British Film Institute's list of the 1. Greatest British Television Programmes. The series also featured Prunella Scales as Basil's acerbic wife Sybil, Andrew Sachs as the much abused Spanish waiter Manuel (. Cleese based Basil Fawlty on a real person, Donald Sinclair, whom he had encountered in 1. Monty Python team were staying at the Gleneagles Hotel in Torquay while filming inserts for their television series. Reportedly, Cleese was inspired by Sinclair's mantra, . During the Pythons' stay, Sinclair allegedly threw Idle's briefcase out of the hotel . Despite this, a second series did not air until 1. Cleese's marriage to Booth had ended, but they revived their collaboration for the second series. Fawlty Towers consisted of only twelve episodes; Cleese and Booth both maintain that this was to avoid compromising the quality of the series. In December 1. 97. Cleese appeared as a guest star on The Muppet Show. In the same year, Cleese played Petruchio, in Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew in the BBC Television Shakespeare series. In 1. 98. 1 he starred with Sean Connery and Michael Palin in the Terry Gilliam- directed Time Bandits as Robin Hood. He also participated in Monty Python Live at the Hollywood Bowl (1. The Secret Policeman's Ball for Amnesty International. PC mouse and keyboard controls are often an afterthought. Prey is the unusual, welcome exception. Since Prey is also on consoles, I assumed it’d work fine with a controller. I figured it’d have a four- way hotbar tied to the D- Pad, combat that feels arguably smoother with sticks and triggers, that kind of thing. ![]() How wrong I was. For years, I only played PC games with a mouse and keyboard. For years after that, I played almost. ![]() This game is System Shocky as hell, and because of that, feels like it was made for the PC. In general, the PC version of Prey is polished and runs well. That’s a relief, given how many recent games have launched in poor shape on PC. Prey runs beautifully on my (pretty beefy) PC, and from what I’ve seen around the Internet, it sounds like it’s running well all the way down the line to mid- level GPUs. It supports 2. 1: 9 monitors and, while it’s missing an in- game FOV slider, Arkane says they’re working on adding one and in the meantime you can tweak the FOV in a config file. Prey isn’t a graphically intensive game, and occasionally it even looks dated. I don’t really care about that, though others might. I’m just happy it runs as well as it does, and am much more interested in how it plays than in how it looks. After about 2. 0 minutes of playing with a controller, I decided to try out using a mouse and keyboard. I switched over and have yet to even consider switching back. Arkane has pulled off a lot of smart, slick interface tricks with Prey, and I wanted to take a moment to highlight a few. First there’s the basic stuff. Menus are designed to work seamlessly with a mouse. You can drag and drop items around in your inventory, easily navigate the map, etc. The “lean” controls are mapped to Q and E like they should be, and it’s really easy to change your keybindings in the options menu. You can assign up to ten weapons to the 1- 0 keys, just as God intended. If you turn the mouse wheel, it takes you out to a Deus Ex- like radial menu, which is where you access your full inventory as well as pop health or psi packs like in Bio. ![]() Shock. This is one place where Prey feels more like a console game, what with the thumbstick- friendly radial menu. It would be nice to have an option to flick the mouse wheel through items like in older PC games, but the current system still feels as smooth/smoother than it would with a controller. The interface gets more interesting when you’re out exploring. Here’s how it works when you walk up to a set of drawers you want to search: A couple of cool things are happening there. First, the “search” dropdown pops up when you move your cursor over the drawers, but it does so without locking you into a sub- menu. Prey doesn’t pause when you’re rifling around, which is good, because an enemy could sneak up on you at any time. It’s also nice because it makes rifling around—something we’re almost certainly going to be doing a lot of in this game—almost frictionless. You can cycle through individual items in the drawer using the mouse wheel, and easily pick up one while leaving another behind. You can also directly control the cursor with the arrow keys. When you’re done, you just walk away. No muss, no fuss. I also like how the game handles interacting with computers: Similar to drawers and containers, you can interact with the computers in the game without leaving the “game space” and entering a “computer space.” The computers in Prey look similar to the computers in recent Deus Ex games, but because they’re so frictionless to use, they feel different. If you want, you can hit the Z button to lock your view to the computer screen, but I haven’t felt the need to do that yet. Just like when you’re done looking through a set of drawers, you can simply walk away from a computer when you’re done with it. Prey introduces a few of other machines that require complex interactions. Recyclers let you convert the junk you’ve picked up into useful fuel for Fabricators, which can 3. D- print you ammo, health kits, and more. Both of those machines are also easy to deal with using a mouse and keyboard. Only the hacking minigame, which involves hurriedly driving a cursor through a hazardous collection of barriers and QTEs, feels like it would work better with a controller. Group visits a K-pop school, learn dance moves from the K-pop band Girls Generation in a music video shoot with them. Visits to an inexpensive spa, the DMZ; and eat. The actress is happy to finally be given the opportunity to play the lead in an upcoming drama. I’m impressed with the quality of Prey’s PC version. Too few games manage to work this well on PC out of the gate, and a vanishingly small number of them work this well with a mouse and keyboard. This is how it should be done. ![]() Watch to Korean, japanese, Chinese, Hong kong, Taiwanese Drama, TV Series and Movie. Find fans of video

We’re introduced to our first guest right off the bat: actor Jung Woo- sung (Padam Padam, Athena), who’s looking mighty smexy in that suit. He’s at the SBS building where 1. And if the introductory preview is any indication, we’re in for an exciting and thrilling game of cat- and- mouse. At least, that’s what I hope. Also, did everyone color- coordinate today or is it just coincidence? And hey, Haha is sportin’ a new blond . I loved Hyo- joo in her last appearance. They greet her with her trademark “Beautiful!” catchphrase, except for Haha, who immediately rushes towards her. But she won’t be fooled this time, and now she’s the one who trips him up with her leg. My, how time flies; has it already been over six months since Hyo- joo’s visit? I love that she’s prepared to take on whatever the show has in store, beautiful actress image be damned. Haha is quick to tease her about it, saying that she’ll have to be roughin’ it in the summer this time. Ignoring him, she cries: “Ah~it’s hot!” HA, it’s both weather- appropriate and punny! Jo PD introduces today’s survival race where the cast will vote someone off after each mission station. Only the first three people to succeed will be safe from elimination, and the unlucky person will be unable to move on. ![]() When Jae- suk asks if the rules also apply to their guests, the others jump on him about it and propose to vote him off first. In the limo, Jae- suk asks the ladies how they would feel if their boyfriend drove up with a fancy limo and a song dedicated to them. Both of them literally cringe at the cheesiness. They arrive at the first location where the cast will need to pass a series of mini- games and Hyo- joo runs ahead of the pack to the first station. Here, they’ll need to throw a bottlecap so that it lands between a narrow space. Hyo- joo gets pretty close and yells: “It’s hard!”Haha makes fun of Jae- suk’s hide- behind- the- wall technique, only to try it himself when it actually works. Kwang- soo leans forward to get closer on his next turn, and belatedly realizes that Haha has a hold on his underwear, giving everyone a free viewing of his bum. Aw. It’s a simple game where overthinking it will just work against you. Soon it comes down between Kwang- soo and Jong- kook, and the latter complains that he can already feel Kwang- soo’s unlucky aura. They go turn for turn, but it’s Jong- kook who succeeds first, and poor Kwang- soo gets dragged away. Aw, he really does have awful luck. The remaining cast is sent out with various missions to search the marketplace. Some of the randomly specific tasks crack me up, like to find a foreigner or an ajumma wearing a visor. Suk- jin tracks down a couple on a date at the ddukbokki stand, where Hyo- joo waits for her food. It’s cute how she compliments them with her “Beautiful!” catchphrase. Meanwhile, Jae- suk doesn’t have much luck finding someone with a camera. His attempt to whisk away the ddukbokki couple for himself doesn’t work and gets flagged down by ajumma fans. He even tries to bring VJ Kwon- ryul back to complete his mission, but suffice it to say that he gets left behind. Again, Hyo- joo leads to the pack to the next station. It’s a trivia quiz game and Haha jokes about how smart Hyo- joo is in order to put pressure on her. They gripe over how easy her question is (“Where does Peter Pan live?”), but she gets it wrong: “Wonderland!”They voice their complaints once more when Junho correctly answers a relatively easy English question, and are left unsatisfied when Myuk PD replies that the idol picked well. Haha looks pretty confident in the face of another English question. You know, until he actually hears it. I am Young!” Hahaha. We skip ahead to a bit later where three people have already passed. It’s Jong- kook’s turn, and Suk- jin reminds him that the remaining boys will be eliminated if he gets it right. It’s an Ernest Hemingway question and none of the three get the correct answer on their first try. Round and round they go (with Gary hilariously half- slurring his answers, ha) naming all the countries they know. Then after Myuk PD gives them a hint, Jong- kook gets it right, and both Haha and Gary are left behind. As Jong- kook run ahead of everyone else towards the last station, I can’t help but think that the man needs to rest. I admire his (and the cast’s) tenaciousness, but it pains me as a viewer to watch you have a hard time with a recovering leg (and I presume his back as well). Ha, the eliminated are already here to watch the cast members solve a 2. They get tips from the eliminated peanut gallery and both Suk- jin and Jong- kook finish right after each other. That leaves the guests to duel it out, and Junho is so concentrated on his cube that he unknowingly solves it. When they point it out to him, he whimpers: “Aw, you should’ve told me. The voting process begins, and it never fails to crack me up how the castmates will claim to stick together and then vote against them anyway. By the time we get to Jong- kook, the votes are split between Haha and Kwang- soo. The 1. 08 cameras hidden throughout the building will help him track where the castmates are. However, the cast will be running around to find them and obstruct his view. Only when all the cameras are turned off can Woo- sung be eliminated. Meanwhile, Kwang- soo is sent off by unanimous vote (aw). When he joins Haha in the van, they’re given a Death Note notebook to write down their desired order of elimination. They’re still in the dark when they arrive at the SBS building. Then they casually open the door, get a glimpse at the man whose back is turned to them. Haha: “Is that. They freak out. Aw, it’s so adorable to see them turn into a pair of fanboys in Woo- sung’s presence. Though I haven’t seen the 1. Beat movie myself, I do know the film’s success launched the actor’s career. The boys ask if he’s okay from all the bullets (in reference to his role from The Good, the Bad, and the Weird), and Woo- sung busts out his quick wit: “I got them all removed. I’m a changed man now.” Ha. It’s apparent that Woo- sung is nervous about doing a good job and making a good first variety show impression. His earnestness is adorable as he outlines the mission for the boys, whose eyes glaze in admiration at the mention that they’re a team. HA—their shirts have an awesome photo of Woo- sung on them. That’s both hilarious and fantastic. All three of them break out in dance (So Cute) and Haha and Kwang- soo jokingly bicker over who gets to be Woo- sung’s fanclub prez. Hahaha. When Kwang- soo figures that Woo- sung will act according to their bidding today, the sunbae corrects him from his chair—no, he’s doing them a favor by eliminating their castmates. He quickly puts them in their places, informing them of how sensitive he can get. So Haha and Kwang- soo mull over the elimination order which basically boils down to “Let’s eliminate the hyungs who torture us the most last to make them suffer.”They place Jae- suk at the end of the list. As for who gets eliminated first, they simultaneously call out: “Suk- jin!” Ha, these two crack me up. With nearly three years of nametag rippin’ under their belt, the boys give Woo- sung a few pointers on how to easily eliminate someone. Woo- sung’s a quick study. The cast is briefed on the current situation when they arrive at the SBS building. They all gape at the daunting task of searching for over a hundred cameras and over the haunting idea that they have no idea who will be eliminated first by the mysterious hunter. The countdown to the start of the mission begins and while the cast rallies together, Haha proposes that they celebrate at Woo- sung’s house if they win. Woo- sung: “You like visiting other people’s houses, don’t you?” Newlywed and soon- to- be father Haha nods. As soon as the whistle blows, Woo- sung and Kwang- soo head out as Haha keeps a watchful eye out for Suk- jin, their first target. The cast is off to a good start when they discover two cameras right away. Only 1. 06 more to go! Keeping track of all the cameras is a difficult and confusing task for Haha. Not only that, the cast is quick to discover the hidden cameras within a few minutes (bringing the count to 1. Suk- jin is nowhere in view. That is, until he’s spotted on the 2. Woo- sung races up there once he gets word. There’s no time to figure out a strategy in the elevator, and before we know it, we’re already down to 8. At least Woo- sung spots Suk- jin as soon as he gets off, and Suk- jin darts at the sight of him. But Woo- sung is lightning fast as he gives chase down the row of cubicles and eliminates Suk- jin in a blink of an eye. The cast grows increasingly nervous as they search the building since they don’t know who the next target is. They wonder what the order might be, and Gary guesses: “Is it by age?” Jae- suk: “Then I’d be next. The frightening sound of the bell echoes up the stairwell and Hyo- joo whimpers in fear. Meanwhile, the Ace is spotted on the sixth floor and she makes sure to check her surroundings as she turns off the cameras. Time is of the essence but Kwang- soo’s presence is more of a burden than help, and Woo- sung sends him away to run down the stairwell on his own. Then at Haha’s impatience that they have to nab Ji- hyo soon, Woo- sung hangs up on him. Haha: “What kind of assassin is he?” A hitman who turns the corner to eliminate an utterly shocked Ji- hyo from the game.
